PM Modi takes first dose of Coronavirus vaccine

Modi took the first dose of Covaxin at Delhi's AIIMS hospital.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi took the first dose of Coronavirus vaccine at the AIIMS Hospital in Delhi on Monday morning.

He took the Bharat Biotech’s Covaxin at AIIMS, becoming the first beneficiary in the second phase of vaccination against Coronavirus in the country.

the Prime Minister took to Twitter to write: “Took my first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at AIIMS. Remarkable how our doctors and scientists have worked in quick time to strengthen the global fight against COVID-19. I appeal to all those who are eligible to take the vaccine. Together, let us make India COVID-19 free!” The second dose will be given in 28 days.
