Weekend rain possible in Kolkata and south Bengal

Kolkata and large parts of south Bengal may receive rain this weekend due to a low pressure zone over Bay of Bengal.
The low pressure zone may be further intensified by a depression that has currently formed in north Andaman sea as it approaches the coastal areas of the state. Kolkata along with the rest of south Bengal will be primarily affected by the low pressure system. The path of movement of the depression is not yet clear, said the Regional Meteorological Centre.
The present low pressure system will however have not bring rainfall till November 8. The weather will in all probability remain dry and sunny till Friday.
