Elections for 11 Rajya Sabha seats will be held on November 9. The seats are from Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

All COVID protocols will be followed – including use of sanitisers, thermal scanning and social distancing. The Election Commission said this in a statement. Chief electoral officers in the two states have been appointed as observers. A senior official has been asked to be put on charge to ensure all COVID-19 protocols on safety are followed while conducting the elections.
