Prime Minister Narendra Modi and West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee wished people on the occasion of Bijoya Dashami today.
PM Modi took to Twitter to write: “Greetings to everyone on the special occasion of Vijaya Dashami.” He also wrote the same message in Hindi.
Mamata Banerjee wrote on Twitter that everyone bids adieu to goddess Durga with a heavy heart, and she wished that the spirit of unity and peace should remain. Her message was in Bengali, and she also wished for unity and peace in the state.
