A female student of the Jawaharlal Nehru University lodged a complaint against an Assistant Professor for allegedly harassing her on February 9. The Assistant Professor also filed a complaint accusing the students of thrashing him on the same day.
According to the female student, the professor thrashed and molested her when she along with few other students urged the professor to support a University strike. The professor allegedly threatened her to keep mum.
However, in another complaint, the professor claimed that the students thrashed him while he was trying to enter a department premises on February 9, it was reported.
Less than two months ago, another JNU professor was accused of molesting seven female students which led to a massive protest at the campus.
