A former woman employee of Congress’s social media cell alleged the party president Rahul Gandhi had ignored her sexual harassment complaint against the social media manager of the party.
While speaking to India Today, she also alleged that the present social media chairperson of the Congress’ IT cell Divya Spandana was also fully aware of her complaint but chose to remain silent on such a horrible act by one of her senior colleagues.
Mentioning that she wrote a letter to Gandhi and Spandana, the former Congress worker said the party’s grievance cell also overlooked the issue.
She accused the senior member of touching her inappropriately even after she raised an alarm. She said the accused manager had “breached her breathing space”.
She also said she had been fired by the IT cell for opposing its chairperson in front of her colleague.
